RIoTboard Development Platform Reader Offer

Courtesy of Freescale Semiconductor and element14, we have five RIoTboard platforms to give away. This open source development platform is a low-cost, fully-featured, single-board computer, delivered as an open-source board with detailed schematics available for download. Additionally, the RIoTboard community also provides an Android OS distribution for applications requiring tablet and mobile experiences. A distribution of Linux can also be downloaded.

The board features the Freescale i.MX 6Solo application processor; a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor sporting an OpenGL ES 2.0 3D graphics accelerator with shader and a 2D graphics accelerator. The device can also support HDMI 1080p video processing and flexible video inputs such as LVDS and CMOS camera options. Freescale’s Kinetis MCU (K20) is also integrated for debug, and available for added programming and functionality.

3. The Freescale RIoTboard Prize draw is open to all entrants aged 18 and over.
4. Employees or agencies of Electronic Specifier Ltd may not enter the Prize draw.
5. By entering the Prize draw you are accepting these terms and conditions.
   There are two ways to enter the Prize draw, either online or posting to the address below.
6. For online applications, you must fill in your details as requested above and click the 'Submit' button. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the Prize draw, email help@esreaderoffers.com.
7. Only one entry is permitted per person.
8. The closing date and time of the Prize draw is Midnight on November 30th 2014. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered.
9. Five winners will each win a Freescale RIoTboard development platform.
10. The winners will be notified by Electronic Specifier/Freescale by email on or before 30th December 2014. If a winner does not respond to Electronic Specifier/Freescale within 7 days of being contacted, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected at random. If a winner rejects their prize, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Electronic Specifier/Freescale shall be entitled to select another winner.
11. The prize will be sent to the winner by ElectronicSpecifier or Freescale on or before 31st January 2015.
12. The prize cannot be exchanged or transferred by and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other prize.
13. Electronic Specifier/Freescale retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event that the original prize offered is not available.
14. Electronic Specifier takes no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

16. The name and country of the winner will be available on www.esreaderoffers.com between 31.01.15 and 01.03.15.
